FCS has integrated directly with several jail management accounting software systems to offer an alternative to issuing paper checks to released inmates. This integration allows a facility administrator to seamlessly put the remaining balance of an inmate’s commissary account onto an FCS Prepaid MasterCard® card. A facility can also use FCS’s Virtual Terminal as an alternative if they opt to not integrate their software. All facilities get real-time reporting and the convenience of FCS’s daily scheduling through its automated clearing house. The cardholder can access their funds immediately through an ATM, retail purchase, card-to-bank transfer, or bank cash advance. The cardholder may also request a personalized card free of charge.
